We decided to visit Rim Tanon for dinner after work, and luck was on our side as we arrived during happy hour. The food was decent, but the cocktails were truly outstanding, and the staff provided excellent service. I appreciate the restaurant's unassuming ambiance and would highly recommend it for drinks.
Food was amazing and drinks were too. But the ambiance and staff are next level. Cozy and welcoming. A great place to eat comfortably and just enjoy. From outside it doesn't look that appealing but that added to the magic of having it be so welcoming inside. This is a hidden gem in the area.
The best pad Thai I’ve had in Houston so far. Get the son in law eggs if you like eggs!
The parking lot sucks but it’ll be okay if you go on a weekday. I came on a Wednesday for lunch and it was empty.

For love all the food that we ordered.
Tried the chicken wings, papaya salad, crispy seabass, crab fried rice. They are a must try dish! Oh and don’t forget to try the mango sticky rice too.

Only thing to complain is the parking.
Fine spot with spotty service. We got the khao soy, panaag curry, salmon rolls, and paad thai. Everything was a little light on the flavor we thought and could’ve used a bit more spice. Generous portion sizes though and generous meat portions too
I love Rim Tanon in person but this review is specific to the Uber eats delivery. I got the pumpkin red curry with beef and the railroad fried rice for delivery. It's a total rip off. I've had both of these in person and I love it both. But look at this - the curry doesn't even have pumpkin in it. The size is barely a size of an entree. The rice also barely includes any protein (chicken) what I ordered. In addition the fried rice was overly salty as if it was drenched in salt or soy sauce.
This is a total disappointment.
Service - fully disappointed at rim tanon for its takeout packaging. Unless it's Uber delivery's fault for not delivery the complete item.
Ambiance - in person it's fine, casual, colorful indoors, packed parking

Went here for dinner on a weekend. We got a seat immediately, they were busy. Parking can get tricky.
The service was good. We got their Railroad fried rice and Khao Soi Gai. You can adjust spice levels, we got 3 and it was great.
Loved the fried rice. The Khao Soi was a bit creamy. But the taste was really good. The portion size are really good. It was a lot of food between two people. Loved the food and it's definitely worth a shot.
Not 5 star, but very good food. I had the fried Red Snapper where the fish is cut into strips then fried. It was chewy and tough... come to find out, they leave the skin on, which does NOT get crispy, just adds that rubbery getting to what your chewing. Had I known it was skin on, I'd have likely ordered something else. My partner enjoyed his chicken fried rice, but the chicken is shredded and the entire bowl is just one dreary yellowish color. Didn't look appetizing, but he liked it.
